The building at 618-622 14th Street was built circa 1920, and has been modified many times over its’ 90+ year existence. Due to its status as a potential historic resource, before the building undergoes its’ next renovation, Architectural Dimensions is working with the City of Oakland for approval of the proposed exterior repairs. Because of the building’s long history, the existing plans and blueprints provide indispensable information about the original design and structural framing, that aids in preserving the building’s historic character. At Architectural Dimensions we research and convert regulatory requirements into project tasks that can be assigned, tracked, and fulfilled in order to ensure compliance with codes and ordinances, or in this case, historic preservation requirements.
