Project Description
AD provided architectural design services for a proposed hotel in downtown Oakland, which consists of 95 deluxe guestrooms, an open-concept lobby, a fitness center, and a game room. The visual elements tie into the historic beauty of the surrounding neighborhood while also reflecting the new and vibrant growth in the downtown area. The building is a concrete structure accented with brick and features aluminum-framed glass storefronts. The design’s horizontal lines are enhanced by a sculpted Porte-Cochère which serves to protect arriving guests from inclement weather.
