Project Description
This site, owned by Union Bank, housed an unusually large branch that enveloped the entire property. The building of 1960’s vintage had a “saw tooth” concrete roof structure that doubled the area of the building to cover drive-thru lanes. The project involved complete demolition of the structure to make way for a new 3,500 sf bank building and a 10,000 sf retail building for small tenants.
Redevelopment of the site created a new asset for Union Bank and a facility that meets current banking needs. The project was phased to allow ongoing operation of the Bank until it was demolished, during which time the Bank had an on-site temporary facility in the new retail building.
